چکیده
Placenta accreta spectrum includes the full range of abnormal placental attachment to uterus or other structures, encompassing placenta accreta, increta, percreta, morbidly adherent placenta, and invasive placentation. The incidence has increased in recent years, largely driven by increasing rates cesarean delivery. Prenatal detection is primarily made ultrasound important reduce maternal morbidity associated with condition. Despite a large body research on various markers their screening performance, inconsistencies literature persist. In response need for standardizing definitions approach examination, Society Maternal-Fetal Medicine convened task force representatives from American Institute Ultrasound Medicine, College Obstetricians Gynecologists, Radiology, International Obstetrics Gynecology, Radiologists Ultrasound, Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Gottesfeld-Hohler Memorial Foundation. goals were assess sonographic basis available data expert consensus, provide standardized prenatal evaluation pregnancies at risk spectrum, identify gaps field. This manuscript provides information Accreta Spectrum Task Force process findings. Maternal Fetal (SMFM), (AIUM), (ACR), Gottesfeld Hohler (GOHO) endorse this document. Gynecologists (ACOG) Gynecology (ISUOG) support (SRU) approves (PAS), terms placentation, structures. There been dramatic rise PAS over years.1Creanga A.A. Bateman B.T. Placenta accreta vera: A challenge in maternal fetal medicine
Methods Case 1: A 35 year-old Chinese female with a history of one previous caesarean section. Antenatal ultrasound noted a localised area at the inferior base of placenta where the retroplacental hypoechoic zone was not demonstrated, and placenta appeared to have invaded myometrium. A suggestion of placenta accreta was made. Patient also underwent MRI which showed a focal area of abnormal sign...

OBJECTIVE We sought to apply a standardized evaluation of ultrasound parameters for the prediction of placental invasion in a high-risk population. STUDY DESIGN This was a retrospective review of gravidas with ≥1 prior cesarean delivery who received an ultrasound diagnosis of placenta previa or low-lying placenta in the third trimester at our institution from 1997 through 2011. Sonographic im...
متن کاملRole of scaling combination of risk factors in clinical and imaging findings during pregnancy in predicting placenta accreta spectrum
Background: Placenta accreta is one of the known causes of maternal mortality and morbidity. If diagnosed before delivery, appropriate actions can be taken. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of scaling combination of risk factors in predicting placenta accreta spectrum (PAS). Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 120 pregnant women with two criteria and more of placenta previ...
متن کاملPlacenta accreta: spectrum of US and MR imaging findings.
Placenta accreta (PA) encompasses various types of abnormal placentation in which chorionic villi attach directly to or invade the myometrium. PA is a significant cause of maternal morbidity and mortality and is now the most common reason for emergent postpartum hysterectomy. Its prevalence has risen tenfold in the United States over the past 50 years, primarily due to the increasing percentage...
